Welcome to Week 7’s edition of the Game of the Week, where We Do It 4 Fun squares off against TSW in a battle that’s anything but casual. Both teams are sitting at 2-4, fighting to keep their playoff hopes alive. Will BZ manage to live up to its name and find joy in victory? Or will Tyrone deliver a tough-love loss that’s anything but sweet?

Let’s break down the matchups position by position, group the key battles, and figure out who’s got the edge in this fantasy football face-off!

Quarterback Showdown: Kyler Murray vs. C.J. Stroud

Kyler Murray

  • Projection: 17.69 points vs. LA Chargers
  • Insight: Kyler’s got legs that can change the course of a fantasy game faster than a last-minute trade. Facing the Chargers defense, Murray will likely need to do a lot of scrambling and hero ball, which is where he thrives. Expect him to put up solid numbers if he stays out of the injury tent, but the Chargers’ pass rush will be a constant threat.

C.J. Stroud

  • Projection: 18.33 points vs. Green Bay
  • Insight: Stroud has been dropping dimes like a seasoned veteran. He’s up against a Green Bay defense that’s solid but not elite, which gives him room to put up another strong outing. The Texans might lean on his arm early and often, and Stroud could be in for a big day.

QB Verdict:
Slight edge to TSW. C.J. Stroud has been consistently excellent, and his matchup looks a little more favorable than Kyler’s against the Chargers’ defense. Murray’s legs give him some upside, but Stroud’s current form makes him the safer bet.

Running Back Battle: James Conner & Tank Bigsby vs. B. Robinson & Najee Harris

  • James Conner: 11.38 points vs. LA Chargers

  • Tank Bigsby: 5.74 points vs. New England

Insight:
Conner is the kind of grinder who can push through for solid yardage, but he’s up against a Chargers front seven that won’t give him much room to breathe. Bigsby is more of a desperation play this week—he’s been inconsistent but something wild could happen in the Jaguars-Patriots game.

  • Bijan Robinson: 14.54 points vs. Tampa Bay

  • Najee Harris: 9.74 points vs. LA Rams

Insight:
Let’s just say it—Bijan Robinson is the shiny new toy of fantasy football, and his usage reflects that. Tampa Bay’s defense will be a tough challenge, but Bijan can rack up points in both the running and passing game. Najee Harris, on the other hand, has been underwhelming so far (minus last weeks performance), but he’s capable of plowing through defenders if the Steelers give him enough opportunities. He’s got an okay matchup against the Rams, but his ceiling is lower.

RB Verdict:
Big advantage to TSW. Bijan Robinson is the crown jewel here, and even a mediocre Najee Harris should outscore Tank Bigsby. We Do It 4 Fun needs James Conner to have a big game just to keep pace.

Wide Receiver Showdown: DeVonta Smith & Brandon Aiyuk vs. Tyler Lockett & DeAndre Hopkins

  • DeVonta Smith: 11.03 points vs. NY Giants

  • Brandon Aiyuk: 10.26 points vs. Kansas City

Insight:
DeVonta Smith is always a big play away from breaking out. Against the Giants, it could be tough though. Aiyuk, also has a tough matchup against the Chiefs. Aiyuk’s chemistry with Purdy is crucial to BZ’s fantasy hopes, especially in what could be a high-scoring affair.

  • Tyler Lockett: 9.01 points vs. Atlanta

  • DeAndre Hopkins: 7.25 points vs. Buffalo

Insight:
Tyler Lockett has been a boom-or-bust guy, capable of torching defenses for massive games—or disappearing entirely. His matchup against Atlanta is favorable, but you never know which version of Lockett will show up. DeAndre Hopkins is no longer in his prime, and his Titans offense is not exactly inspiring confidence. He’ll need a vintage game to keep up with We Do It 4 Fun’s more explosive WRs.

WR Verdict:
Edge to We Do It 4 Fun. DeVonta Smith and Brandon Aiyuk are both more consistent and have better matchups. If Lockett doesn’t hit one of his big boom weeks, TSW’s WR corps could be a weak point.

Tight End Clash: Bowers vs. Pitts

We Do It 4 Fun’s TE: Brock Bowers

  • Projection: 10.81 points vs. LA Rams

Insight:
Brock Bowers is living up to expectations and his role in the offense has been expanding. He’s always a threat to score near the goal line. He’s got a decent shot at putting up double-digit points against the Rams.

TSW’s TE: Kyle Pitts

  • Projection: 7.44 points vs. Seattle

Insight:
Ah, Kyle Pitts, the fantasy enigma. For a guy with so much talent, he has been criminally underused in the Falcons’ offense. However, he’s shown flashes of brilliance lately, and he’s got a favorable matchup against a Seattle defense that’s been vulnerable to TEs. This could be one of those games where Pitts finally breaks out… or he could leave his managers frustrated once again.

TE Verdict:
Edge to We Do It 4 Fun. Brock Bowers has a better shot at consistent production, while Kyle Pitts is a lottery ticket that may or may not hit.

Flex Matchup: D.K. Metcalf vs. De’Von Achane

We Do It 4 Fun’s Flex: D.K. Metcalf

  • Projection: 12.07 points vs. Atlanta

Insight:
D.K. Metcalf is a physical freak who can win almost any jump ball, and he’s going up against a softer Atlanta defense. He’s got serious touchdown potential, and if the Seahawks can find a rhythm, Metcalf could easily outscore his projection.

TSW’s Flex: De’Von Achane

  • Projection: 11.98 points vs. Indianapolis

Insight:
De’Von Achane His speed and explosiveness are ridiculous, and he’s always a threat to break a long touchdown. However, Achane is still competing for touches with other backs in the Miami offense, which could cap his ceiling if he doesn’t get enough volume.

Flex Verdict:
This is a very close call, but We Do It 4 Fun gets a slight edge. Metcalf has a higher floor, while Achane is more boom-or-bust, though his potential for a big play could tilt the scales.

Kicker Battle: Boswell vs. Bass

We Do It 4 Fun’s Kicker: Chris Boswell (PIT)

  • Projection: 6.57 points vs. NY Jets

TSW’s Kicker: Tyler Bass (BUF)

  • Projection: 7.81 points vs. Tennessee

Insight:
This is the ultimate kicker duel, with both guys likely to get some decent opportunities. Bass is the more reliable option, kicking for a high-powered Bills offense, while Boswell is a safe, consistent kicker for the Steelers. Bass has a slight edge because his team will likely spend more time in scoring position.

Defense Duel: WAS D/ST vs. CLE D/ST

We Do It 4 Fun’s Defense: Washington D/ST

  • Projection: 6.98 points vs. Carolina

Insight:
Washington’s defense has been a mixed bag, but going up against a struggling Panthers offense is a blessing. If they can get pressure on Andy Dalton, there could be sacks and turnovers galore.

TSW’s Defense: Cleveland D/ST

  • Projection: 6.15 points vs. Cincinnati

Insight:
Cleveland’s defense has been sneaky good, but they’re facing a Cincinnati offense that’s starting to click. If they can contain Burrow and force mistakes, they could outperform expectations.

Defense Verdict:
Slight edge to We Do It 4 Fun. Washington has the easier matchup, but don’t count out Cleveland to make things interesting.

Final Prediction: The Smooch Squad’s Revenge

Both teams have strong players, but TSW’s lineup looks a bit more balanced, with C.J. Stroud, Bijan Robinson, and De’Von Achane bringing serious upside. We Do It 4 Fun has a strong WR corps and Brock Bowers, but with Kyler Murray and Tank Bigsby in the lineup, there are too many question marks.

Final Score Prediction:

  • We Do It 4 Fun: 91.2

  • TSW: 96.8

Why TSW Wins:
C.J. Stroud, Bijan Robinson, and Achane have too much upside, and even if Kyle Pitts underwhelms, TSW should be able to ride its stars to victory. We Do It 4 Fun will need big games from Murray and Metcalf to pull off the win

And there you have it! It’s shaping up to be an intense battle, with TSW looking poised to pull off the win. But in fantasy football, anything can happen—We Do It 4 Fun could still pull out some magic. Let the trash talk begin!
